I was awaken by the "All Clear"/"Important Message" signal of the public warning system at 12.05pm this "supposedly morning". All thanks to the siren if not I guess 'd still be in bed at 2.
Total Defence Day. We are all brought up to appreciate the values of Total Defence since primary school, from graphical designs during art lessons to reflection worksheets in CME lessons, even in NPCC. And yes! having to memorise the five pillars of Total Defence plus do some bandages just to earn myself a CD badge. Haha. I already realised I'm not interested in CD. I remember telling my teacher of my ambition as a nurse when I was in pri 1. The vivid image of me drawing a nurse with a red cross on my favourite jotter book still remains. Very vivid I must say.
I was a red cross member. See how badly I wanted to be a nurse back then. Heh, then it changed pretty abruptly. For a period as an art teacher. Now, anything related to design/art. But certainly nothing related to animation or video stuff pls.
Ok, the best part about total defence day during those days is...
having this mock emergency exercise where everyone's gathered at the field so we can take a good half an hour break off boring lessons. HAHA.
Alright I need to sleep early, but my sis's tempting me to watch a nice show. So this TV worm is definitely not giving it a miss.
