I know it's rather late getting crazy over facebook now, but I realised alot of these amazing bees joined facebook not too long ago too. I've got people inviting me to join for the past few months but I'll delete them without fail. Please please don't blame me cuz I thought it's just another friendster back then. Nobody brought out anything fun/unique until Azman mentioned about playing games in Facebook, which differentiates itself from friendster. He finally convinced me to create an account last weekend.

It was pure addiction for the first 2-3 days, afterwhich you will start to realise some of the applications are unnecessary and delete them. More meant your page have to load longer anw. And now it seems like (fluff)Friends is the only must-have application for most of us, if not all. (i.e. provided they added the application in the first place).

Here's just some randomly picked uniquely-named fluff pets:
I've included mine too, fair enough k (x

Interestingly, we call each other by the names of our fluff pets now. So TORTOR / BeeBee / whoever elses' reading this blog, yes you, for once you're allowed to call me geeluff!

Two weeks ago I sat in the WIP session with my colleagues. Because I'm working on part-time basis, there is likelihood that I will be completely clueless during the discussion, unless they touch on the project I'm working on. They were mentioning about "barter" and I practically thought its the "butter" they're referring to. Urrgh, sounds really stupid but at least I realised something's not quite right after some time. However this typical singaporean didn't dare to raise up the question amidst the session thinking it's gonna be silly. And if I were to ask Azman, he'll probably ask me to go "d-i-c-t-i-o-n-a-r-y.com" to look up for the meaning. What I'll definitely do is type in butter & there you go:

1. the fatty portion of milk, separating as a soft whitish or yellowish solid when milk or cream is agitated or churned.
2. this substance, processed for cooking and table use.
3. any of various other soft spreads for bread: apple butter; peanut butter.
4. any of various substances of butterlike consistency, as various metallic chlorides, and certain vegetable oils solid at ordinary temperatures.

Yesterday when Salim mentioned about it again during the SD gradshow discussion, familiarity of the term came back again.
At least I understand now. (:
